Purpose
The purpose of the BUILT TO LAST Women’s Conference is to empower women to intentionally build strong foundations of faith, family, and purpose according to God’s design.
Grounded in Proverbs 14:1—“The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down”—this conference calls women to embrace wisdom, strength, and spiritual maturity as builders in every area of life.
Through worship, teaching, and meaningful conversations, women will be encouraged to strengthen their faith, nurture healthy families, and walk confidently in their God-given purpose. This gathering is designed to equip women with biblical tools, practical strategies, and spiritual insight to build lives, homes, and legacies that endure.
We will affirm that women are not merely surviving life’s challenges, but are called to build with wisdom, intention, and faith—leaving a lasting impact for generations to come.

Meet Our Facilitators
Ivory Gibson

Ivory Gibson was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, where she developed a lifelong passion for helping others. A devoted woman of God, Ivory began cultivating a relationship with the Lord at a young age—one that continues to shape her faith, values, and life’s work. Driven by her desire to serve, she
pursued a career in social work and earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Wayne State University.
Ivory began working at just 15 years old, where she was first introduced to the value of discipline, dedication, and hard work. Throughout her career, she has held multiple leadership roles, gaining experience that strengthened both her professional and personal growth. Through her 20-year marriage
to her husband, Ivory was introduced to entrepreneurship, a journey that began in 2009 during the recession when they purchased their first investment property. Over the years, they have expanded their portfolio to include multiple residential properties and a commercial property.
Inspired by the belief that the average millionaire has multiple streams of income, Ivory embraced entrepreneurship wholeheartedly. In 2016, she founded IG Photography, a business specializing in high school seniors, sports, and event photography. Her creative work reflects not only technical skill but a genuine love for capturing meaningful moments.
In more recent years, Ivory has felt called by God to share her life experiences to uplift and empower others. During the 2020 pandemic, she and her husband launched their YouTube talk show, Rubin &
Ivory’s Journey in the Making, where they openly discuss faith, marriage, growth, and purpose. Today, Ivory is a life coach and motivational speaker, focused on helping individuals build strong support systems, develop self-sufficiency, and walk confidently in their God-given purpose.
Ivory takes great pride in the accomplishments of others and is deeply committed to helping people discover and develop their God-given talents. Through faith, resilience, and obedience to God’s direction, she is a woman who is truly built to last.
